Cybarete

Underground operations need systems that keep working when communications are patchy, infrastructure is limited, and decision-makers are far from the event. Minezone is Cybarete’s deployable edge stack for sensing, local processing, and resilient data flow.

What this solution delivers

Minezone combines edge compute, sensing, and orchestration patterns to deliver:

  • Site-local execution for low latency and continued operation during outages
  • ZoneView HMI for operators in disconnected areas: stope status, ambient conditions, and notifications
  • Resilient data capture with store-and-forward synchronisation
  • Operational workflows for alerts, escalation, and evidence capture
  • Traceable history for compliance, investigations, and continuous improvement

Outcomes you can expect

  • Faster detection and response through local alerting in constrained areas
  • Fewer blind spots in underground and disconnected zones
  • Cleaner compliance reporting with consistent, auditable records
  • Reduced operational burden versus high-maintenance prototype deployments

How it works in practice

A typical deployment starts at a priority stope or zone. Sensors feed a local edge node that evaluates thresholds and agent policies on site. When gas levels rise or a stope status changes, ZoneView alerts the shift supervisor immediately, even if the uplink is down. Events queue locally and sync when connectivity returns, with timestamps preserved for audit.

Typical deliverables

  • Edge and sensing architecture tailored to your constraints
  • ZoneView HMI configuration for priority zones
  • Rollout plan starting with priority zones, then additional coverage
  • Dashboards and alert workflows aligned to operational roles
  • Retention and reporting outputs for audits and post-event review
  • Handover package: maintenance ownership and operational routines

Where this fits

  • Underground mining and narrow-reef operations
  • Remote sites with intermittent connectivity
  • Environments where compliance, safety, and asset visibility must continue under partial failure
